Anambra State Police arrested a woman named Nneamaka Nwosu for setting fire to a police officer and her two children in Nnokwa, the Idemili South Local Government Area of ​​the state.
The suspect, from Amawbia, was left homeless after divorcing her husband.

She approaches the policewoman who, out of pity, offers to put her up.
The lady recently had an argument with the policeman, which resulted in a fight. In anger, the suspect allegedly hit the policeman on the head with a pestle, knocking him unconscious. Then, the suspect allegedly tied the policewoman and her children with a rope in their room, then set them on fire.

The policewoman and her children did not survive the tragic ordeal and were burned alive.
When arrested, the suspect initially claimed it was a gas cylinder that exploded when the woman and her children boiled hot water.

After long interrogations, she allegedly confessed to the crime and explained how she had committed it. She also recounted how she burned her alive. While she said it was the work of the devil, the suspect, who said she didn’t know what prompted her to commit such a crime, helped her when needed.
