A young woman named Miss Chinyere Awuda from Nnobi in southern Idemmili Governorate, Anambra State was reportedly found dead and drugged in the abandoned swimming pool of Cosmila Awka Hotel, Anambra State.
According to sources, the young woman was at Club Mila, a nightclub believed to be owned by Cosmila Hotels in Awka, Anambra State, where a Mr. Gabriel Chinemere and friends who are also believed to be clubbers started beating the young woman, Chinyere Awuda, for reasons still unknown.

Despite the efforts of others at the club that Saturday night to save the girl from the hands of Mr. Gabriel and his friends, they continued to beat and assault Miss. Chinyere Awuda in the presence of the manager of the club, a certain Steven Junior, who allegedly asked the club’s security guards and bouncers to stand down and instead turn off the lights while the girl was beaten and dragged out of the club, where her lifeless body would later be found. dumped in the abandoned swimming pool of the Cosmila Hotel.
Miss Chinyere Awuda’s family went to the Cosmila Hotel after receiving the terrible news of having found the lifeless body of her daughter at the abandoned swimming pool; the incident has since been reported to the Anambra State Police for further investigation and recovery of Ms. Chinyere’s lifeless body.
