Nigerian man shot dead in South Africa

A Nigerian man identified as Emma Ezeuko was killed by suspected gunmen in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
Ezeuko was believed to have been shot dead on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, five days after her birthday.
The deceased was from the Aguata Local Government Area of ​​Anambra State.
Details of the incident are still imprecise at the time of this report, but it has been learned that four passengers traveling in the taxi were killed by gunmen in Durban’s Port Shepstone on the same day.
The unknown gunmen were alleged to have approached the taxi and opened fire on the occupants. Four of the occupants died as a result of the shooting, while four others were transported to hospital with gunshot wounds.
The motive for the shooting is unknown and is under investigation by the police. Detectives are investigating four murders and four attempted murders.
