In December 2018, Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike announced that he had been appointed as the Chief Executive of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Wike will take place on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at St. Paul’s in Rumuepirikom, Obio-Akpor. Peters Deanery made the announcement at a special Thanksgiving service hosted by the family. There, he revealed several life-threatening scenarios that he had kept secret since he was 8 years old. – Service period. According to Wike, the poison destroyed his internal organs, damaged his liver and kidneys and almost killed him without divine intervention.
After saying that he almost died of poisoning:
Anyone who knew how I came to power in 2015 knew it was a shock. But God saw us. When you are in the office, many people think you are doing a good job. No one wants to know what challenges you face as a human being.
“In December 2018, it was Thanksgiving for the former chief of staff. I should have attended that Thanksgiving. Since that Sunday I haven’t left my room. it’s disturbing.
But those of you who attended the State Dinner on 1 January 2019 will know that I did not speak once that day. I sat there and told the lieutenant governor to represent me. I thought it was over.”
Doctors said he had no liver or kidneys. Wike was rushed to a Beirut hospital in the middle of the night and after several tests, doctors said his liver and kidneys were destroyed.
He is said to have been unaware that he was poisoned in the PDP party secretary’s office and after receiving treatment several times, the doctors returned and his organs started working again. He said doctors discharged him about a week later and asked him to return home, saying he had changed his travel itinerary during his second campaign term.
The former governor said everyone was suspicious when he decided not to enter the party leader’s house during the election campaign.
